Finally, it is assessed that the patent professional background will be beneficial to the processing industry and assist them in developing the competitiveness of agriculture.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kirsten J\u00f8rgensen<br>Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences. Profile: the role of cyanogenic glucosides in the cassava plant (Manihot esculenta Crantz) and the expression patterns of the genes involved in the biosynthesis of cyanogenic glucosides during plant development and in response to abiotic and biotic stress factors such as salinity, drought, and viral attacks. Specialised in plant histology and physiology, determining both at the transcriptional and cellular level where the active ingredients are produced and localised.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Henrik Brinch-Pedersen<br>Professor and Head of the Section for Crop Genetics and Biotechnology at the Department of Agroecology, Aarhus University. Henrik is an expert in plant breeding, and his research focuses on improving crop traits through the use of new tools such as CRISPR\/Cas9.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Johannes Ravn J\u00f8rgensen<br>Lecturer, from Aarhus University, Department of Agroecology \u2013 Crop Health. Profile: yield potential and qualitative characteristics in grain with a focus on providing knowledge that ensures yield potential is realised and qualitative characteristics are optimised in conventional, organic and precision farming systems, as well as a focus on quality analyses; NIR, digital image analysis, chemical and physical analyses, and precision farming.<br> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hans J\u00f8rgen Lyngs J\u00f8rgensen<br>Lecturer, University of Copenhagen, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences. Profile: Plant Pathologist. Control of diseases in crop plants using biological control and induced resistance, and investigation of control mechanisms. Resistance in plants to fungal diseases, with a focus on infection biology and defence reactions (microscopy, biochemical analyses and gene expression).
