The applicant must attend a course for new breeding controllers and subsequently pass an examination taken in connection with the course. TystofteFonden holds a course for new breeding controllers every year.<\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n Already authorised breeding controllers must carry out regular inspections, which will normally be every year and must attend the TystofteFondens meeting for experienced breeding controllers at least every 5 years, in order to maintain their authorisation.<\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n The company orders breeding control from an authorised breeding controller affiliated with the company, or from another authorised breeding controller authorised by TystofteFonden. Authorised breeding controllers employed by a company may, with prior permission from TystofteFonden, also carry out field inspections for other companies. Breeding control can also be commissioned from other providers of authorised breeding control, such as agricultural economic associations. All contractual arrangements, including payment, are established between the company and the provider, such as the agricultural economic association or the authorised breeding controller.
