Spring grain varieties 2022/2023
For the 2022/2023 season, the following spring barley varieties have been approved by TystofteFonden and meet the criteria. The list is not exhaustive, and there may be more varieties that meet the criteria:

Terms and conditions for the production and sale of seed mixtures
The specified variety mixtures have been approved on the basis of the following criteria:
- The varieties used in a mixture must each have a kernel yield ratio of at least 95 on average of the latest 5 years of national surveys. For new varieties with fewer trial years, the average ratio must be 97.
- There must be no more than five days' difference in the ripening time of the varieties used.
- There must be a maximum difference of 15 cm in the stem length of the varieties used. spring sown crop.
- There must be a maximum difference of 20 cm in the weave length of the varieties used. winter cereal.
- There can be a maximum of the following value for disease pressure:

Following the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's statutory order on seed grain no. 1301 of 22 September 2022, the conditions for the production and sale of spring cereal varietal mixtures are as follows:
- The batches to be used in seed mixtures must be certified.
- The sampler must, before mixing commences, be shown the individual batches, monitor the mixing process, and have been handed the labels from the units of pure varieties that are included in the mixture.
- The batch is mixed, marked and sealed by the sampler. There is no weight limit on the batch.
- The mixing lot must be labelled with the EU label for seed grain mixtures, form 88c, or with a pre-printed label on the bag that has been approved. The labelling must include the mixture number and the names of the individual varieties that make up the mixture.
- Companies wishing to produce a given variety mixture must individually apply to TystofteFonden for permission before the mixture may be marketed and traded.
